Projects, and Activities for 2007-2008

Activities (fun included):

• Major donation to the J.V. Brown Library

• Baseball Outing – over 60 attendees

• Personally distributed 800+ dictionaries to area 3rd grades

• Brandon Park Project - flowers and shrubs planted at children's play area

• Dinner of Champions, honoring local athletes and raising over $7300 for cancer victims and Special Olympics

• Salvation Army Christmas Tree Project helped to raise almost $600 for local Salvation Army

• Holiday Party – over 60 attendees & children learned to give as well as receive

• Club Social at Community Theatre League

• Red Cross Blood Drive

• Hosting Exchange student

• Sponsoring Exchange student

• Golf Outing fundraiser

• Lasagna for Literacy to benefit programs at J.V. Brown Library

• Highway Clean up project

• $500. Annual High School community service scholarship started

• $500. Rotary Nursing Scholarship at Penn College
